Hoffman Certified Organics is a local USDA Certified Organic farm located in Huntertown, Indiana. We are the only USDA certified organic farm in Indiana specializing in pasture-raised certified organic poultry. Hoffman Certified Organics is a family company run by Huntertown native Ben Hoffman. With the growing demand for pure organic meat products in the US, Hoffman Organics devised a much needed plan to provide our region with local 100% USDA Certified Organic chickens. With the delivery of 400 baby chicks in early April of 2015, Hoffman Certified Organics was born.

Our chicks spend the first 3-4 weeks of their lives in our brooding barn on organic bedding and organic starter feed. Once grown, they rotationally graze in our fields of organic clover and organic alfalfa for maximum protein intake. Our farm sits on 60 beautiful no-till acres in rural Allen County providing our chickens lots of room to forage and thrive. Our chickens live on clean, fresh grass, eating only organically raised grains, pasture grasses and cover crops. We love our chickens and treat them like part of our family. Our resident chicken grandma, Dotsie, even sings to them!
